My journey with art was reignited in 1992 after meeting my birth father, professional artist Peter Lambert. Since then, I’ve evolved from watercolours to working almost exclusively with oils, painting en plein air landscapes that capture the changing light, form and atmosphere of a scene. A practising veterinarian, I find balance in the spontaneity and observation required in outdoor painting. My work has been exhibited across Otago and recognised in national art awards.
