From Sandymount Road

210 x 295 mm en plein air oil on board looking across from Sandymount road towards Otago Harbour. I decided to ignore most of the well known peak off frame to the right (Harbour Cone) and focus on the contrast between the bright cool light on the water and the dark pine trees. I was pleased with the outcome of this loose study.
